Reading and writing are the two subjects that I am most excited about, and I love teaching them to children. I have been a credentialed teacher since 1992 and received my BA in English from UC Berkeley in 1990. Since then, I have been teaching in a variety of places (schools, community centers and homes) and to a variety of ages.
I have two "kids," Emma and Sam. They are both in their early twenties and in college.
This is my favorite phrase of the week. "There are always some clementines in the box that are ridiculously bland," says the cute funky Trader Joe's checker to me this evening.

Cute and funky, eh? Sheesh, always flirting with the staff!
Mama always said, life is like a box of clementines.
LOL -- you are the one that is cute and funky :-)
